THE PROCESS
DESIGN
The process of designing a pair of earrings, a necklace or a bracelet always starts with the main beads I
want to use as a focal point. This could be a unique pendant, a new strand of semi-precious stones or
agates, or other times when I find something forgotten in my “stash” of beads. The color, shape and size
of each bead starts the process. I lay them out and start pairing them with the metals to be used; silver,
brass, gold, or copper, depending on what highlights them in the best way possible. Then I start to select
other beads in the same hues or coordinating colors, mixing the sizes large to small to see what fits best.
I try to find harmony between the beads in pairing them, and when it comes together, a design is
“born”.
COLLECTIONS
Each named Collection is named after a woman whom I hold dear to me. A woman who has shared my
life in some way in moments where I have needed a friend, someone to confide in, or someone to share
my joy with. We all have women who have touched our lives in some way, and we are so much better
for having shared these moments with them. Without them, life would not be the same.
CRAFTSMANSHIP
All my jewelry is made by using techniques that will hopefully extend the life of the piece for years to
come. However, perhaps some parts can fail over time, especially for those pieces that are worn
frequently. Should this happen, we will repair it, send a replacement if possible, or exchange it if
needed. If you lose one earring, we will make another to match if we can. Just send us a picture and we
will work with you to bring your treasure back to life.
